2. Independent Contractors

All contractors to whom we refer users are independent third-party businesses or individuals. They are not employees, agents, partners, joint venturers, or representatives of Huntsville Senior Remodeling Pros in any capacity.

We do not employ, supervise, control, or direct the work of any contractor referred through our Site. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, safety, timeliness, or completion of any contractor's work
• A contractor's pricing, estimates, or billing practices
• A contractor's licensing status, insurance coverage, or regulatory compliance
• A contractor's conduct before, during, or after any project
• Any disputes arising between you and a contractor

4. Limitation of Liability

5. Indemnification

• Verifying licensure: Confirming that the contractor holds all required licenses with the Alabama Homebuilders Licensure Board (online verification available at hblb.alabama.gov) and any other applicable state or local licensing authorities.
• Confirming insurance: Requesting proof of current general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage before work begins.
• Obtaining a written contract: Ensuring that all project scope, pricing, timeline, and payment terms are documented in a signed written agreement before work commences.
• Checking references: Independently reviewing the contractor's references, online reviews, and complaint history through the Better Business Bureau or similar resources.

Our pre-screening process is intended to identify contractors with relevant experience, but it does not constitute a guarantee of current licensing status, insurance coverage, or workmanship. You assume all risk associated with your decision to hire any referred contractor.

7. No Attorney-Client Relationship

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
